Who we are
A family business

Qayyum Exports (QE) is a family-owned company engaged in the manufacture and export of Hand Knotted and Hand Tufted rugs, Hand Woven wool flatweaves, Hand Loomed and cotton rugs, cowhide leather rugs and accessories, indoor / outdoor PET and jute rugs.
We work from permanent premises at Qayyum House, Station Road, Bhadohi, Uttar Pradesh, in the centre of the Bhadohi–Mirzapur carpet belt, home to generations of skilled weavers.
We keep a strong focus on R&D and innovation, with a wide-ranging portfolio for the volume markets of Europe, North America, South America, the Middle East and the Far East, and the production capacity to serve them. Our customers include importers, distributors, wholesalers, retail chains, mail-order businesses, online stores and hospitality projects.
We aim to keep improving our products and processes, the safety of our workplace and the skills of everyone in our organisation, through training, technology and customer feedback.

Like most houses in Bhadohi, we work with a network of approved weaving partners in the region, who carry out weaving and wet processes such as dyeing, washing and latexing.
Our own team controls everything around the loom: design and sampling, the purchase specification, raw material issued to weavers, inline inspection at the loom, 100% inspection when goods arrive, finishing, pre-shipment inspection, packing and export documentation.
Our weaving partners are approved by us, sign our Vendor Code of Conduct and are visited regularly by our team.
