Who we are

What we collect

• Inquiries: name, email, phone, company, subject and message you send through our contact form or by email, WhatsApp or phone.
• Business contacts: details exchanged at trade fairs and meetings (for example business cards) and in the course of quotations, orders and shipments.
• Technical data: IP address, browser type, pages visited and similar data recorded by our hosting provider to run and secure the site.

Why we use it and on what basis

• To answer inquiries and prepare quotations: steps taken at your request before a contract (GDPR art. 6(1)(b)).
• To manage orders, shipments, invoicing and our customer relationship: performance of a contract and our legitimate interest in running our business (art. 6(1)(b) and (f)).
• To send occasional news about collections and trade fairs to business contacts: our legitimate interest or your consent. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email.
• To meet legal obligations such as tax, customs and export record-keeping (art. 6(1)(c)).

For users in India, we process personal data in line with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 for the purposes above.

Who we share it with

We do not sell personal data. We share it only with service providers who process it on our behalf, including Odoo S.A. (website hosting and business software), Microsoft (email) and, when you contact us on WhatsApp, Meta Platforms; and with banks, freight forwarders, customs agents and inspection bodies where needed to complete an order. Some of these providers process data outside your country; where required we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

We keep personal data only for as long as needed for the purposes above, and for any period required by law.

Cookies

This site uses only the cookies needed for it to work, such as session and security cookies. We do not use advertising cookies. Our contact page embeds a Google Maps map; Google may set its own cookies when it loads.

Your rights

You may ask for access to, correction or deletion of your personal data, object to or restrict its use, withdraw consent, and ask for a copy of data you provided. Email info@qayyumexports.com. If you are in the EU/EEA or UK you may also complain to your data protection authority; in India, to the Data Protection Board of India.

The site is served over HTTPS and access to our business systems is restricted to authorised staff.
